NIKS releases her latest single, ‘Riding Senses’, this Friday. Have an exclusive first listen below.

The London-based DJ, producer and Black Artist Database co-founder hits the sweet spot between dancefloor propulsion and giddy euphoria on her second-ever solo release. Like the DJ sets that have seen her make huge strides this summer at festivals and clubs including Glastonbury, Panorama Bar and Lost Village, this track feels tailor-made for those moments when your body is locked into the room’s rhythm, while your mind branches into another realm. Tough techno drums and a crunching bassline propel glittery keys, wiggly percs and loopy vocalisations into a deliciously trippy rave headspace. Those in search of rowdy club cuts with a splash of magic need look no further.

The track follows NIKS’ debut track, ‘Badness, Can’t Work’, which appeared on B.A.D’s debut label compilation, ‘Synergy’. Read Christine Kakaire’s interview with NIKS and Amaliah about their journeys in music production here.

‘Riding Senses’ arrives this Friday 13th October. You can pre-save it here, and will be able to buy it on Bandcamp
