Premiere: Regularfantasy ‘Maybe Nevermind’

Regularfantasy links up with Cecile Believe and Priori for four cuts of luminous, pop-tuned house music for Specials Worldwide

Premiere: Regularfantasy ‘Maybe Nevermind’

Regularfantasy will release an EP, ‘New Glow’, via Vancouver’s Specials Worldwide label this week. Listen to ‘Maybe Nevermind’ below.

The Canadian DJ and producer, whose music has previously appeared on labels such as Banoffee Pies, Total Stasis and Pear, returns with four more tracks that demonstrate their distinctive “sentimental house” sound. Collaborating with PC Music affiliate Cecile Believe and NAAF’s Priori, the music on ‘New Glow’ is luminous and lovely; built on bouncy beats, bubbling bass, glittery samples and tender pop vocals, these cuts are dancefloor-tuned with a lightness of touch and an emotional ear.

The EP also comes paired with two remixes, with Cecile Believe putting a sugar-dusted two-step spin on ‘So Sweet’ and Planet Euphorique founder (and previous collaborator) D.Tiffany pushing up the tempo on ‘Maybe Nevermind’s pop-house sparkle for a heads-down, trancey twist.

‘New Glow’ will be released this Friday 30th September. Pre-order it here
