Spain’s SITA links up with Cardopusher for a slice of lust-laced techno ahead of her debut EP for Héctor Oaks’ KAOS label

For the second single from her forthcoming debut EP, ‘Generacion XDISIS’ – out 15th January – the Spanish DJ/producer links up with fellow Barcelona-based artist Cardopusher for a slice of dark, lust-laced techno. Replete with sizzling basslines, Eurodance-inflected grooves, and flirty Spanish vocals, the track (which fittingly translates to ‘CARNAL ECSTASY’ in English) is internet-age rave music at its most energising.
“With Luis (Cardopusher), we really get along in a very organic way musically,” SITA shared of the cut. “The process of working with him was very natural and fast and that says a lot on how we understand each other. I love the mental freedom he has in the process of exchanging ideas and making a song together.”
The EP is the culmination of a stacked twelve months for the Spanish multi-hyphenate, which included launching her LGBTQ+ forward techno party series OUTOPIA (home to sets from the likes of Brutalismus 3000, Animistic Beliefs, AADJA, and more), and collaborating with Madrid’s Héctor Oakson his debut LP earlier this year.
‘Generacion XDISIS’ will mark the final release of 2023 on Oaks’ label KAOS, following releases from Ascion, P.E.A.R.L., DJ Keepsakes, and more.
