Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label will launch its second series of dancefloor-focused releases this month with a new EP from The Busy Twist.
Following last year’s Club Series, which featured much-hyped releases from the likes of KG & UNIIQU3, Bamz, Hagan, Rose Bonica and more, vol.2 kicks off in typically full-throttle form. London’s The Busy Twist offers up two cuts of vibrant, percussive club music, titled ‘World Of The Spirits / Tropic 109’. “I wanted to create something that brings the listener back to the centre of a gig at prime time,” he said of the release.
In preparation for the EP, The Busy Twist travelled to Ghana and had a studio session with the Labadi Warriors, with whom he also worked with back in 2017. The result of the recent collaboration is heard on ‘World Of The Spirits’, a percussion-led dancefloor stomper made all the more invigorating by The Labadi Warriors’ rousing vocals.
