Floyd Lavine and David Mayer have followed up their ‘Sondela’ EP from 2018 by gathering a cast of producers to remix it. 'Sondela Remix EP' will be released on 31st May via Connected Frontline.
Auntie Flo, Kususa and Freerange Records boss Jimpster step up with reworks of the EP’s title track, which features stunning vocals from Toronto vocalist Xolisa. Tunnelvisions, meanwhile, remixes the EP’s B-side ‘Xi’.
Jimpster’s remix strips back the original and emphasises the percussive backbone of the track, creating a more lush atmosphere for Xolisa’s captivating vocals. Check it out below.
