UK label Astral Black returns with the fifth instalment of its Frass FM compilation series this month.
Set for release on 21st February, the new 16-track compilation features contributions from the likes of DJ Milktray, Xao – who released an LP on the label last year – Bruised Skies & Thugwidow, Impey, Shy One and more.
‘Frass FM 5’ also features the production debut from 6 Figure Gang’s Jossy Mitsu, whose sets of blinding breaks, garage and deep, bass-led club sounds have seen her making big strides on the UK circuit in the past year. ‘Whirl’ is a killer introduction. With its scattered breakbeat rhythm, growling sub-bass and dubstep nods, it’s the sort of track that shakes up the pace of a filling dancefloor. Check it out below.
