Premiere: Maya Jane Coles 'Reason'

London-based DJ and producer Maya Jane Coles will feature on the upcoming '20 Years of fabric' compilation. Listen to Coles' off-kilter roller, 'Reason', now

Maya Jane Coles will feature on the newest compilations from London clubbing institute fabric.

Entitled '20 Years of fabric', featuring artists from both fabric and FABRICLIVE, the double-vinyl/CD package from fabric Records will capture "the present the past and future with 20 artists across 20 tracks, for the 20th anniversary celebration of the beating heart of EC1."

Among the artists on the FABRICLIVE compilation are long-time fabric and Houndstooth affiliate, Special Request, alongside London-based artist Daniel Avery. B.Traits also appears on the FABRICLIVE mix, with Groove Armada and Mantra also making appearences. The fabric compilation feautures some of the club's best loved DJs on the flip, including current resident IMOGEN and regulars Marcell Dettmann and Margaret Dygas.

Another of the artists to contribute to the fabric mix is Maya Jane Coles, who provides an off-kilter dancefloor staple in the form of 'Reason', blending hypnotising chimes and warped synth into a deep house roller.

Listen to 'Reason' below and pre-order '20 Years of fabric', slated for release on 6th December, here.
