2ManyDJs and James Murphy’s Despacio soundsystem announces London shows for 2020

The experience will return to Camden's Roundhouse for two more nights

2ManyDJs and James Murphy are bringing the Despacio sound system back to London for two more nights next year.

Taking over Camden's Roundhouse venue, the trio will once again present the simple experience that has made Despacio such a hit with fans in recent years, manning two turntables and a mixer all night with the much-loved sound system as their outlet.

They describe the Roundhouse as their "favourite London venue". The residency will go down on May 21st and 22nd of next year.

Despacio is a bespoke sound system designed by James Murphy and 2ManyDJs, AKA the Dewaele brothers, in collaboration with audio experts McIntosh. The three of them last brought the system to London for Nile Rodgers' Meltdown festival at the Southbank Centre last summer.

Before that, Despacio took over All Points East earlier this year. Read DJ Mag's feature ahead of that appearance exploring 10 tracks that have defined the experience.

James Murphy recently launched a new cafe in Brooklyn called Daymoves. It's his second foray into the food and drink industry after previously opening a wine bar next door.
