Amsterdam club Claire is closing next month

Programming will continue until November 9th

Amsterdam club Claire is set to close for good early next month.

The venue originally opened in 2016 in a space based on Rembrandt Square in the city. The owners' statement announcing the closure cited financial reasons for the decision and added that a "new team" would take over the space. It's not known whether that team will continue to run it as a club.

The club will remain open for this week's Amsterdam Dance Event hosting six events over the course of the annual conference featuring guests such as Denis Sulta, Detroit Swindle, Archie Hamilton and Folamour. Floating Points and Kamma will also DJ at the club this Thursday, October 17th as part of a live-streamed DJ Mag party.

Chaos In The CBD and Maribou State are also lined up to play at the club in early November before its closing party which will take place on Saturday, November 9th.
