Amsterdam Dance Event has announced the first ADE Lab speakers for its 2023 event.
The curated programme, running from 19th-22nd October, is designed to support young producers and burgeoning industry professionals through opportunities for learning and networking, and will feature talks by high-profile artists, workshops, studio sessions, and more.
This year’s edition will include a live RA Exchange with US techno titan DVS1, alongside a deep dive into curating a DJ set with Danish selector Mama Snake, and a Filth on Acid Demo Drop with Reinier Zonneveld.
Additional workshops will include ‘The Art of Vinyl DJing’ with Héctor Oaks and Van Anh, in addition to talks and skills sessions with Darude, Nostalgix, and Modular Moon. Femme Bass Mafia are set to host a DJ mentoring program for femme, trans, and non-binary people, while Amsterdam-based duo Parallelle will join ADE Lab for a special live edition of their ‘A Day In...’ series.
Promising to be “even more hands-on than last year,” the sophomore edition of ADE Lab will also present a series of on-site courses to complete, ranging from Production and Artist disciplines to Professional and Mixed Media courses. Upon completion, attendees will earn a discount on the ADE Pro Pass for the following year.
ADE Lab visitors will also get the chance to test out the newest gear and creative technologies from Ableton, AIAIAI Audio, Roland, and more, while music promotion platform CollabHouse and SAE Institute are joining forces to host exclusive demo drops and challenges.
