Amsterdam’s De School announce final monthly club programme ahead of permanent closure

Amsterdam venue De School has revealed its final monthly club programme before it permanently closes its doors in January 2024

The world-renowned club has shared its complete December calendar, inviting DJs like Batu, Aurora Halal, dBridge, Shinedoe, PLO Man, DJ Marcelle, DVS1, Ehua, upsammy and more. There'll be live sets from Giant Swan, Bruce and Aleksi Perälä, among others.

Amsterdub Weekend will run the first weekend of December with sets from the likes of Channel One, DJ Storm, King Shiloh Sound System, Empress Messenjah Sound, Aba Shanti-I and more. The club's signature Het Weekend event will run for the 9th through the 11th featuring Call Super, Peach, Shy One, DRKNGHTS, Dax J, Move D & Jus-Ed, Rrose, Yaleesa Hall and more.

For the transitional time between Christmas and New Year's, the "tussenin" series will host Palms Trax, JEANS, Paramida, Prosumer, Kléo, JASSS and more, plus a four-way team-up from Blasha & Allatt & Steffi & Virginia.

De School reopened in September last year after closing in 2020 following fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic and claims of sexual harassment and racism. The new era of De School, with new management and safety staff, was planned to be short-lived as its temporary lease runs out in January 2024.
