Armin van Buuren locked for Laroc’s Carnival series

The trance icon is heading to Brazil...

Brazil's outdoor clubbing mecca Laroc has announced a swathe of new artists set to perform during its forthcoming Carnival series, including Armin van Buuren, Hernan Cattaneo, Jonas Blue and more.

2018 kicks off in style with Jonas Blue & Sam Feldt on the 6th January just as summer in Brazil really starts to take hold.

On 20th January prog house champion Hernan Cattaneo will be in town for what is expected to be a sell out show.

Moving into February, EDM don Alesso will be playing on the 10th February, and then trance master Armin Van Buuren — who was the highest placed trance DJ in the recent Top 100 DJs poll — will be playing on the 12th February.

The outdoor club — which boasts a huge outdoor pool & huge open-air terrace — is located just an hours drive from Sao Paolo in the Valinhos valley.

With stunning panoramic views of the lush valley, DJs usually start their sets in the mid-afternoon so they the most of the setting sun.

Since the club opened two years ago, the owners have redesigned the mainstage with a brand-new theme each year.

The current setup includes a stage 22 meters wide, with a 150 m2 LED panel, 129 light fixtures, 1500 meters of LED strips, 580 wooden panels and three tons of steel.
