Armin van Buuren shares AI-animated video for single, ‘Easy To Love’: Watch
The clip for the Dutch trance mainstay's single with Matoma and Teddy Swims marries traditional and technologically advanced styles of animation
Armin van Buuren has shared the music video for his latest single, 'Easy To Love'. Watch the video below.
The single, a collaboration with Norwegian producer Matoma and American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, premiered back in February on the 1102nd episode of van Buuren's A State Of Trance radio series. The video is now out, initially released via van Buuren's Discord server, and marries 3D animation, AI-generated images and green-screen production to create the mixed-medium aesthetic.
The Dutch trance star previously incorporated Al visual art in his 2022 music video 'Computers Take Over The World', off the second LP in his 'Feel Again' trilogy. "I've been experimenting with AI for some time now and find it truly fascinating to see how far the technology has come since I used it in my 'Computers Take Over The World' AI-generated music video and in my tracks," van Burren said in a press statement. "It’s crazy what AI can do these days... Do you agree?"
The third and final 'Feel Again' album was released back in March.
In May, van Buuren released the 20th instalment of this 'A State Of Trance' mix series. There was also a 20th anniversary exhibition for the beloved series running at Amsterdam's Our House Museum from February through April. A State Of Trance will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a festival in London in early July at the Dockyards. It's set to be the largest trance event to date in the city.
Armin van Buuren is set to return to Ushuaïa Ibiza this September for his Sunday residency.
