Arthur Collins charged over London nightclub acid attack

Arthur Collins, 24, has been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent and one of throwing corrosive fluid on a person, after being identified as the main perpetrator in last week's London acid attack. 

20 people were injured in the incident, that occurred at London Field's nightclub Mangle E8 on 17th April, including two people who were each blinded in one eye. 

Another man, Andre Phoenix, has also been charged and is facing seven counts of grievous bodily harm.

Mr Collins, from Hertfordshire, was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northamptonshire, on Saturday, though Police have yet to identify the exact substance used in the attack.

Arthur Collins is also the former boyfriend of The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann who is currently pregnant with Collins's child. 

A spokesperson for McCann said her thoughts were with the "victims of the horrific attack".
