100 Gecs' viral remix of Basement Jaxx's 'Where's Your Head At' is getting an official release. Listen to the edit, titled 'Where's My Head At_', below.

The US hyperpop group's remix made waves back in March when they opened their Boiler Room set with the rework of the 2001 rave hit. Now, XL Recordings has officially released 'Where's My Head At_' as a digital single in the label's house bag series. There'll also be a 12-inch vinyl version in a 500-copy limited-edition run, due out on 23rd February, 2024.

Earlier this year, Basement Jaxx's Felix Buxton made headlines for sharing a story about rugby-tackling Prince Harry dressed in a gorilla costume onstage at Wireless Festival in 2009.

Revisit Ben Cardew's 2021 feature celebrating the 20th anniversary of Basement Jaxx's 2001 hit album 'Rooty', which features 'Where's Your Head At', as part of DJ Mag's Solid Gold series.
