BBC Radio 1 announces 2018 Residencies

The Black Madonna, Bradley Zero, James Blake and Artwork among those playing staring roles...

BBC Radio 1 has just announced its 2018 weekly residency line-up, with some of electronic music’s biggest stars set to play prominent roles. 

The past twelve months have been dominated by the likes of deadmau5, Eats Everything and Kolsch and Jessy Lanza - and 2018’s line-ups are no less exciting. Stepping into the fold in 2018 is The Black Madonna, Artwork, James Blake, Mura Masa, TQD (Royal-T, DJ Q and Flava D), as well as Jubilee, ToKiMONSTA and Rhythm Section boss and all-round radio supremo, Bradley Zero. 

The eclectic array of talent on offer is indicative of a major shake-up at BBC Radio 1 - and is certainly one that’s in keeping with the public’s desire for discerning sounds. Each artist will have monthly shows running from January to June 2018. A full list of who’ll be presenting when is available below: 

First Thursday of the month, Beginning January 4:
