BBC Radio 1Xtra launches Rave Show championing Black dance music culture: Listen
The two-hour show, hosted by Jeremiah Asiamah, will air every Friday
BBC Radio 1Xtra has launched a weekly show dedicated to showcasing Black dance music culture.
Presented by Jeremiah Asiamah, the show will air on 1Xtra every Friday from 7pm until 9pm. It will cover genres such as amapiano, UK garage, house, jungle and drum & bass.
Asiamah has previously hosted 1Xtra's Get Lit Mix, which will now continue as part of the Rave Show, kicking off each week at 8.30pm. The British-Ghanaian DJ originally emerged as a broadcaster via Brixton-based online station Reprezent Radio.
