Berghain has unveiled 60 hours of techno for its New Year's Eve marathon, which goes under the title Sylvester Klubnacht, opening for business just before midnight on Sunday 31st December, and running clean through until Tuesday 2nd January.
Spread over four rooms in the cavernous Berlin venue- Berghain, Panorama Bar, XXX-Floor, and Elektroakustischer Salon- a host of regulars and residents are set to play, including Steffi, Answer Code Request, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Norman Nodge, and Nick Hoppner.
Meanwhile, stand out guests come in the form of DVS1- whose fabric 96 mix album will drop in the same month- Etapp Kyle, Danny Tenaglia, Martyn, Nathan Fake, and The Black Madonna. Not forgetting a live performance from LSD, AKA Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and David Sumner, of Function note.
We've included the full run down below, which easily ranks as one of the most impressive New Year's bills we've seen in some time, no doubt meaning it will be even harder than ever to secure your spot on the floor, but clearly well worth the effort/queue paranoia/skipped heartbeats required to make it through the front door. Don't worry if it doesn't go to plan, though- you can see exactly what the elusive techno mecca looks like on the inside here.
