THE BPM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN EVENT

Portugal and Brazil's inaugural events take place this year...

The BPM Festival will finally make its long-awaited move overseas in 2017, launching new editions in Brazil and Portugal.

Now 10 years old, the event has become one of the highlights of the Mexican festival calendar (and the world's for that matter), bringing the very best in house and techno to Playa del Carmen each January.

With the main 2017 event now underway, BPM directors Alessandra Axelsson, Craig Pettigrew and Phillip Anthony Pulitano have posted a video announcing their additional plans for the year.

Fom 27th to 30th April, BPM will head to Praia Brava, Itajai in Brazil, teaming up with Warung club for yet more big names in idyllic surrounds.

Then in September, Europe will be the destination as the festival heads to an as yet unannounced location in Portugal (said to encompass a beach and multiple indoor arenas) for a one-day, one-night party.
