B.TRAITS SHUTS DOWN MANSPLAINING SOUND ENGINEER
Following a patronising comment left on her Facebook page on International Women's Day

It was International Women’s Day yesterday but it seems like not everyone got the memo.
B.Traits marked the occasion by highlighting a textbook example of mansplaining.
The Canadian DJ took a sound engineer to task after he suggested she needed to “work on gain structure” in a comment under one of her Facebook posts.
“No they’re actually not. No reds there mate. Try hating somewhere else,” she wrote in response.

On Twitter, the BBC Radio 1 DJ wrote: “male sound engineer trying to tell me how to do my job. on IWD”. She went on explain that she “wanted to highlight something that happens to lady djs, surprisingly often”.
The 'Fever' producer also shared a screenshot of a sexist comment left under one of her mixes which alleged that her music was “written by men”.

track 8 is by @NinaKraviz... pic.twitter.com/T1XCmPcgO6— B.Traits (@BTraits) March 8, 2016
The Black Madonna and Fort Romeau tweeted messages of support for the producer in response.
