Charlotte de Witte debuts video for Chris Liebing collab, ‘Liquid Slow’: Watch

"It really ties into that transcendental feeling that you experience during an elongated evening of raving," de Witte says of the video

Charlotte de Witte has shared a video for 'Liquid Slow', her brand new collaboration with Chris Liebing.

The first release on her newly-founded KNTXT label, the track sees de Witte and Liebing directly channeling the rumbling techno that's an essential part of their DJ sets.

The video, which was shot in Sao Paulo by director Fernando Nogari, follows the story of two struggling young lovers. You can watch it below.

“I love and am in awe of the visual that Fernando has created for our first KNTXT release.” says de Witte of the video. "I really feel that the obscure and ominous atmosphere he created is a great metaphor of the underground techno scene that drew me in. The dangerous mystery that compels so many of us into the night. It really ties into that transcendent feeling that you experience during an elongated evening of raving."

The 'Liquid Slow' EP came out last week and features the title track alongside another collaboration between de Witte and Liebing called 'In Memory'.

The duo made the decision at Awakenings festival to collaborate for the release, with de Witte saying that she and Liebing "shared a lot of laughs, a couple of beers and a million different mixdown versions of both tracks". De Witte and Liebing also went B2B during Miami Music Week at the Surfcomber Hotel earlier this year.
