Creamfields new 30,000-capacity mainstage will be ‘largest festival structure in the world’

Creamfields will debut a new high-capacity mainstage at its 2024 festival next summer.

The new APEX stage will hold up to 30,000 festivalgoers — nearly half of the 4-day event's 70,000 total capacity — and claim the title of "largest indoor festival superstructure in the world". It'll take the place of the Horizon stage, according to Instagram, and will have an extended opening time till 4 AM on the Saturday over the late August bank holiday weekend.

The 2024 edition of Creamfields, taking place from 22nd August through the 25th in Daresbury, will also see XXL and Teletech as first-time stage hosts. The larger lineup is still to be announced.
