DANCE MUSIC COMMUNITY MOURNS PRINCE

The musical icon died yesterday at his home in Minnesota

The electronic music world is mourning the loss of Prince, who died yesterday aged 57.

Tributes to the Purple One, who left a huge mark on dance music over his 40 year-long career, have been pouring in after news broke that he had been found dead at his Paisley Park Estate. 

Among the countless artists and figures to pay their dues were Carl Craig, Nile Rodgers and Underground Resistance, who posted a photo of the star simply captioned, “Respect”.

Many other producers, DJs and musicians took to social media to post memories and reflections, a few of which you can read below.
