Deadmau5 has released 'Legendary': Listen

The Shotty Horroh collab finally gets dropped

Deadmau5 has released 'Legendary', the single featuring UK rapper Shotty Horroh, which we reported on as early as November last year and has been a regular feature in the Canadian DJ and producer's sets for some time.

The track marks the first fresh material to become available from the man behind the mouse mask, AKA Joel Zimmerman, since February's LP 'Stuff I Used To Do' arrived via WeTransfer, a file sharing platform allowing fans to download for free. That collection landed just two months after 'W:/2016ALBUM/', a long form effort the artist told Twitter he hated because it was "so fucking rushed/slapped together".

This isn't the first time Deadmau5 and Shotty Horroh have worked together, with the singles 'Are You Not Afraid' and 'Okay' also resulting from their collective minds. The MC, real name Adam Rooney, also lays claim to being the guy who caused concerned citizens to call police with reports of 30 masked men smashing up cars in a Greater Manchester scrapyard, which wound up being a video shoot for his track 'FUDT', loosely inspired by cult 1970s gang movie, 'The Warriors'. Take a listen to the new cut in full below.
