DEADMAU5 OFFERS TO CO-PRODUCE NEW ARTIST’S ALBUM IF HE HITS ONE MILLION SOUNDCLOUD PLAYS
He’s offering to fly BoMason to the mau5trap studios...
Deadmau5 has offered to fly an aspiring artist called BoMason to the mau5trap studios to co-produce his first album, if he can hit one million plays on his SoundCloud page.
After finding the relatively unknown producer on Twitter, when BoMason revealed aspirations to move to LA to push his music career, Deadmau5 described him as having “natural talent” in the Reddit post that announced the news.
In it, he said, “I’m going to propose an offer.... I pledge, if this guy gets 1 million plays, I will fly him to mau5trap, and help him co-produce an album. I think we can make some really interesting stuff.”
You can see the full post below. At the time of writing, BoMason has 1,290 followers on SoundCloud, with his most popular song, ‘Evolve’, on 148k plays.
Last year (December) Deamau5 also unveiled his new Cube 2.1 stage set-up, in a YouTube video that showed parts of the development process as well as his new live show in action.
The mau5trap boss gave the first glimpse of his Cube 2.1 when he performed material from his new record, ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’, ahead of its release last month (December).
