Dekmantel launches classic techno reissue series

The vinyl-only series kicks off with 'Djax-Re-Up Volume 1'...

Dekmantel have announced details of a forthcoming two-volume techno reissue series.

The Dutch label will reissue classics from Eindhoven's Djax-Up-Beats, an imprint founded by Miss Djax in 1988.

Promising "raw, analog, acid burners" from various Chicago trailblazers includding Glenn Underground and Felix Da Housecat, the series will kick off with 'Djax-Re-Up Volume 1'. You can pre-order that here.

Lena Willikens curated the fifth installment of Dekmantel's 'Selectors' series last April.

It was recently announced that Nina Kraviz' GALAXIID label will reissue a rare 1997 album from Russian producer Dr. Roman Belavkin aka SolarX.

Hunee, Ben UFO and Motor City Drum Ensemble were among the names who performed at Dekmantel's sister event Lente Kabinet last May.
