Dekmantel announces 44-track compilation celebrating 10th anniversary
It includes new tracks by Jeff Mills, Peach, Kode9 and more
Dekmantel is releasing an extensive compilation to celebrate the upcoming 10th edition of its flagship Amsterdam festival,
Set for release on Friday, 13th September, the 44-track release takes in new cuts from a number of artists long-affiliated with the festival, as well as some who are due to play the event for the first time this year.
In addition to a digital release, the compilation will be made available in a 7x12" vinyl box set, with each record in the set split to reflect the music policy of the current seven stages at Dekmantel's main site this summer, Amsterdamse Bos.
'Dekmantel Ten: A Decade Of Dekmantel Festival' takes in new tracks from the likes of Jeff Mills, Peach, Kode9, Call Super, Steffi, Palms Traxx, Marcel Dettmann, Karenn, upsammy, Verraco, BADSISTA, Identified Patient, DJ Nobu, Adrian Sherwood, and Eris Drew & Octo Octa, among many others.
Seven tracks have been made available for early streaming, covering one track from each vinyl record included in the box set. Among these are tracks from Call Super, Nick León, Roza Terenzi, Introspekt and others. You can listen to them below.
This year's Dekmantel festival, the 10th edition, takes place across several venues and 10 days, culminating in three days of action at main site Amsterdamse Bos. DJ Sprinkles, Ron Trent, Ben UFO & Joy Orbison, Helena Hauff, Call Super, Carista, Jeff Mills and Ash Lauryn are among the acts who will play the event.
Dekmantel's flagship festival will be followed by quickly by this year's Dekmantel Selectors festival in Tisno, Croatia later in August.
