Nick León and Jonny From Space launch label, Impacto, with El Gusano EP
The latest offerings by Miami-based Mexican artist Pablo Arrangoiz — AKA Dj Fitness, Bauzer Vep, Rental Snakes, Ys and many more aliases — is out this Friday
Nick León and Jonny From Space are teaming up on a new label called Impacto. Its inaugural release is the 'Saka La Bolsita' EP by El Gusano, led by single 'Arrebatao', featuring El Descarao; listen to it below.
Miami-based Mexican artist Pablo Arrangoiz, AKA Dj Fitness, Bauzer Vep, Rental Snakes, Ys and several other aliases, has produced an EP that blends "acid cumbia" and "microtonal reggaetón" with dembow and house, influenced by free jazz, German new wave, Miami bass and more, according to the label. Out this Friday, 15th September, 'Saka La Bolsita' features five new tracks, including a collaboration with Arrangoiz's longtime friend Matt Angel as El Descarao.
This past April, León remixed Matias Aguayo's 'El Camarón' for an edit EP. Jonny From Space has previously teamed up with Coffintexts for a joint EP titled 'CIENFUEGOS'.
