Diplo is working on a new project with Mark Ronson called Silk City

Both Mark Ronson and Diplo are no strangers to working with countless other artists — so it’ll come as no surprise that the two super producers have been in the studio together working on a new collaborative project called Silk City.

Understandably, details are still a bit thin on the ground but according to Pitchfork the duo have been working on a disco album together.

The duo will be performing together for the first time later this year at the Governors Ball in New York, where the likes of Jack White, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Eminem and N.E.R.D are confirmed to be performing, too.

Last year, Diplo released a collaborative-heavy Major Lazer EP, ‘Know No Better’, featuring Travis Scott, Quavo, Camila Cabello, J Balvin, and more.

More recently, the Major Lazer frontman admitted that he plans to work on a new Jack Ü record as soon as the new Major Lazer and Skrillex albums are complete.
