DJ Babatr has released a collection looking back on 2023 in raptor house. Listen to the LP below.
'Raptor House 2023' features 19 tracks by Angel Linares, Daniel Pereira, Ronald Piñero, DJ Loop, Huaka'i and more, plus the genre's founder himself. The limited edition version, out now at name-your-price, is the community's holiday "gift", according to the Bandcamp description.
2023 was busy for the raptor house pioneer, real name Pedro Elias Corro. DJ Babatr started the year with his first-ever vinyl release, the 'The Tribe (Baila)' EP for ACA, and his global scene-shaking single with Nick León, 'Xstasis'. He remixed Matias Aguayo and was remixed by Imaabs, Kode9, BADSISTA, Florentino and more on his dual release, 'Las Lomas / Fuma Con Los Panas + Remixes'. He also teamed up with fellow Venezuelan artist Arca on the 'MK3TreF' single.
