DJ Harvey reveals residencies at Ministry Of Sound, Concrete, Berghain, more

The British-born, LA-based DJ is going global...

DJ Harvey has announced a series of global residencies, including multiple dates at Ministry Of Sound, Concrete, Berghain, Output, De Marktkantine and Lux Fragil throughout 2017.

He’ll also have a hand in programming the support acts for each of the shows, and expects to play for between six to eight hours at each of the gigs.

In an interview with RA, Harvey said: "I honed my trade in nightclubs and warehouses and in many respects, it's where my heart lies and where I feel like I function best."

On the upcoming residency tour, he added: "In many respects, it's scratching the surface, but all these places have good soundsystems and they'll allow me to express myself in the right way. I basically said to myself, if it doesn't have a DJ booth, I'm not going to play there this year."

Only some of the dates have been announced so far, including a one-off set at Goa Club in Rome and at Electron Festival in Switzerland.

Dates in London, Amsterdam and New York have also been revealed.
