The DMC World DJ Championship finals will return to London in September.

Presented by RANE and in association with Technics, the historic competition - which sees finalists from across the globe battle for the coveted title - will take place at Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday 28th September. It follows on from last year's 33rd outing for the competition, which saw France's DJ Skillz (pictured) come out on top.

As well as hosting a live performance from five-times DMC World DJ champion Craze at this year's event, organisers are also encouraging budding DJs to upload a 60-second set here to be in with the chance of performing on the main in front of the judges on the day.

Tickets for the event cost £16.50 and can be purchased here.

In 2017, DJ Rena became the youngest ever winner of the DMC World Championship at just 12 years old.

Five years ago, Birmingham-based turntablist Mr Switch became the first UK DJ to win the competition in 13 years.
