Don Diablo announces comic book series, Hexagon

It's a five-party sci-fi series written by the DJ and producer himself

Don Diablo is launching a comic book series called 'Hexagon'.

Taking its name from the Dutch DJ and producer's record label, the sci-fi series will run in five parts and will be written by Don Diablo himself.

A synopsis offers more details on the storyline, saying: "Don sneaks out with his friends to an all-night game-a-thon with the intention of impressing a girl. Don overshoots the mark, and to everyone’s surprise, on his first quarter ever, he’s able to beat the game everyone called ‘impossible to beat.’ In an instant, his world is turned upside down when his victory triggers an alien invasion and sucks him into an intergalactic battle that has been raging for years."

He announced the comic book via a Facebook post, describing it as "LIFE GOALS!" An exclusive preview of the first book in the series will be presented at exclusive Comicon this Saturday, October 5th in New York City. 200 copies of the book will be handed out for free.

The official launch of 'Hexagon' will follow in spring 2020. The book follows on from Steve Aoki's six-edition 'Neon Future' which was also produced by Impact Theory Comics, the company behind 'Hexagon'.

In July, Don Diablo shared a music video for his track 'The Rhythm'. Over the summer, he also teased a new album and confirmed a world tour for later this year.
