EDC UK HAS BEEN CANCELLED

The festival's UK edition has been pulled...

EDC UK has been cancelled.

The festival, which was due to take place in July, has been pulled by organisers, Insomniac Events.

Founder of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella said, “Thank you for your support of EDC UK. I am writing to you to let you know that our plans to grow and improve the festival at Milton Keynes have not developed as I had hoped, and we are not going to be able to stage EDC UK this July in a manner that meets all of our high expectations. As a result, we are taking it off-sale and issuing everyone a refund.

“I apologise for the inconvenience I know this causes, but we need to postpone this show until we can properly reimagine all areas of the experience. Thank you for understanding.”

In December last year, Rotella also announced that Insomniac were cancelling EDC New York, that was founded in 2012 by the festival giant.

EDC's Las Vegas edition, scheduled for 16th to 18th June, is still set to go ahead.
