Following the decision on Tuesday to revoke legendary nightclub Fabric's operating licence, venue co-founder Keith Reilly will be joining DJ Howie B on Gilles Peterson's new Worldwide FM online radio show.
Yesterday Fabric released a statement about the closure, saying: "Closing fabric is not the answer to the drug-related problems clubs like ours are working to prevent, and sets a troubling precedent for the future of London's night time economy."
Howie B has been outspoken on the affair, attacking the authorities via a Facebook post shortly after the club's initial licence suspension.
Meanwhile, information has come to light suggesting Islington Council and the Police were working collaboratively to shut down Fabric in order to redevelop the area. Read DJ Mag's report here.
The programme will run for 2pm – 6pm today, tune in here to listen.
