fabric Originals announces 15-track compilation featuring ANII, Chloé Caillet, Shubostar, more
The third compilation in the fabric Originals label series has been announced.
‘fabric SELECTS III Presented By Love Hertz’ is a 15-track compilation featuring songs by ANII, Chloé Caillet, Shubostar, Red Axes, Long Island Sound, Perel and more. It will be released on 4th August.
It follows last November's debut Originals release ‘fabric Selects I’, which launched dance music institution's new label, and ‘fabric selects II’, which was released in May.
ANII has this week shared the song ‘Just Breathe’ from the compilation – stream it below.
She said of the track: “Since I arrived in London in my early 20s, fabric was part of my life already, so its crazy to think that now I’m becoming a part of its legacy and I’m so proud.
“‘Just Breathe’ is showing a different part of me and the music I’m into... it was not always just house and techno but breakbeat and garage and drum and bass and electro as well, so creating something that reflects a bit of my past was extremely satisfying.”
The compilation is described in press material as taking listeners “on a journey through melodic sensibilities, deep techno, drifting house, and pushy and groovy dance floor numbers”.
The third instalment is released under fabric’s new music brand, Love Hertz, which is also an event series specialising in indie, ethereal, experimental and deeper sounds.
Love Hertz will make its debut with a special event held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London on 13th September.
