Worldwide FM goes live 5th September...

International taste-maker Gilles Peterson is extending his Worldwide brand with the launch of a new online radio station.

Scheduled to go live on 5th September, Worldwide FM will be hosted by Peterson himself and Thris Tian, and will feature guest DJs, live sessions, interviews and discussion with the aim of continuing the Worldwide mission to "explore and tie together the shape-shifting diversity of global music."

Powered by WeTransfer, the station will feature presenters from all across the planet, including Belgium's DJ Lefto and Tokyo sensation Toshio Matsuura. Test runs earlier in the year also saw the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Louie Vega, Saul Williams and more take to the airwaves.

Broadcasting live from London is just a start too, as Peterson aims to set up studios in both mainland Europe and LA, along with moving to a brand new location in the UK capital.

To tune in, head to and make sure to follow the station on Facebook and Twitter to get all the info about upcoming shows.
