Grove releases new EP, ‘PL*Y’: Listen
It’s the sibling EP to July’s ‘P*W*R’
Grove has shared their new EP, ‘P*LY’, the counterpart to the ‘P*W*R’ EP released earlier this summer. Check it out below.
The four-track project features the Bristol based artist, producer and vocalist’s September single, ‘MILF MAGNET’, alongside three new boisterous cuts. ‘PL*Y’ has now been combined with ‘P*W*R’ – originally released in July – on all streaming platforms to form the completed ‘P*W*R // PL*Y’ project.
Speaking on the dual EP, Grove said: “‘P*W*R // PL*Y’ is an interplay of different expressions of power, ranging from collective rage, to the intimate & beautiful. Where there's the hard, abrasive political bass of ‘P*W*R’, it’s sibling ‘PL*Y’ explores lust, s*x worker solidarity and a deepening connection with love. The themes are sonically woven thru queer-infused bashment, dembow, trip-hop and more.”
The project will be accompanied by a flurry of UK shows, including a hometown Bristol date, a night in London, and a performance at Manchester’s White Hotel. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
