Bristol-based producer, DJ, and vocalist, Grove has shared a formidable video to accompany their new single, ‘BIG BOOTS’. It was created and directed by artist, Jasper Golding, and features a 3D rendered Grove stamping on effigies of the royal family. Watch it below.

The track is Grove’s first new music since their 2022 single, ‘Feed My Desire’, and features vocals from fellow Bristolian artist, EJ:AKIN.

Speaking about the track, Grove said: “We're told that there's no money for people & public services, but there is £100,000,000 for the coronation for a billionaire. The Royal family are a symbol of all kinds of supremacy – class supremacy, white supremacy, imperialism – and we need to decide how we want to be represented as a country now, and not have it be decided for us. We're being pushed coronation biscuits & bunting in Tescos whilst deportations, housing and living situations become dire.”

To celebrate the release of ‘BIG BOOTS’, Grove will be playing sets at Patterns (11th May), Fabrica (12th May), and Revenge (12th May). The track will also be getting an airing at Forward Bristol later this year, where Grove will be playing before Erykah Badu.
