Homobloc has announced the full line-up for its 2023 edition ahead of the festival’s return to Depot Mayfield on 4th November.

The day-to-night queer party will host sets from the likes of Todd Edwards, DJ Paulette, Avalon Emerson, LSDXOXO, salute, and Confidence Man across the three main stages of Depot Mayfield (Depot, Concourse, Archive). Other names joining the bill include The Blessed Madonna, Romy, Roi Perez, Cakes Da Killa, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Joshua James, SHERELLE b2b I. JORDAN and many more.

As well as extending over additional stages across Temperance Street and the historical Star & Garter Pub, Homobloc will also continue the party on the roof of the Depot Mayfield for the first time. The space will host an intimate takeover from Horse Meat Disco, along with a cinema screening, in-session podcasts and talks, acoustic performances, pop-up shops, and more.

“It’s with great pleasure we unveil the most adventurous Homobloc line-up to date,” shared Rod Connolly, Homobloc’s promoter. “For 2023 we have straddled the edges of queer culture to introduce fresh new sounds and textures from the alternative music scene, aligning them with some of the biggest names in electronic and dance music to create a unique international party busting with nitty-gritty northern queer energy.”

The festival’s programming — which includes live DJ sets, dancers, performance art, and more — was curated by LGBTQ+ collectives from Manchester and beyond, including Homobloc regulars Ghetto Fabulous, Creatures by Beau Azra, Miss Chief by Banksie, and Strutty Bitch, as well as new collectives such as The Cavalcade and Drag Kings Of Manc.

The festival, which is described as a “party with purpose”, will also be partnering with a host of charities for its 2023 edition, which are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
