Salon des Amateurs has announced that it is set to close for “undisclosed period”, after a closing weekend that runs from 2nd to 5th November.
The iconic Düsseldorf nightspot needs to shut its doors for extensive reparations to be carried out on the building.
Speaking about the news on the closing weekend’s Facebook event, those behind Salon des Amateurs said, “Everyone was talking about it. Now its official. Salon has to close its doors for an undisclosed period. Reperations have to be done and this time things will be done right.”
Since opening 14 years ago, the Düsseldorf club has established itself as an institution known for its unique approach to music.
The line-up for Salon des Amateurs’ closing weekend line-up is yet to be announced.
