Salon des Amateurs to reopen next week
Aki Aki, Philipp Otterbach and Tolouse Low Trax line-up for the first weekend
Salon des Amateurs will reopen next week.
The Dusseldorf institution, which has helped establish luminaries such as Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic and Jan Schulte, was shuttered in November 2018 for essential work to take place following water damage.
Friday 25th October will see the venue once again welcome revellers with a penchant for leftfield tones, when local talent Aki Aki joins Brooklyn's DJ Rasputin and Rearview Radio on the line-up. The following evening, Saturday 26th October, Philipp Otterbach headlines with Frank D'Arpino and the club’s co-founder Tolouse Low Trax.
The newspaper Westdeutsche Zeitgung has reported that the address will now call time at 4.30AM for weekend parties, and will operate as a cafe from 12PM on weekdays.
