Mr. Scruff locked for latest DJ-Kicks compilation
The mix features an exclusive track from Mr. Scruff and CyperPunkJazz and is out on 27th March
Mr. Scruff will mix the upcoming DJ-Kicks compilation for !K7.
The compilation includes an exclusive, unreleased track from Mr. Scruff and CyperPunkJazz titled ‘3001: A Space Disco Remix’, and ‘Ease Yourself’, a previously unreleased track by Andy Ash. The mix also features productions from Iona Fortune, Errorsmith, Tiger, DJ Nervoso, and more.
The DJ-Kicks compilation will be Mr. Scruff’s, real name Andy Carthy, first release since his ‘Friendly Bacteria’ LP in 2014.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of !K7’s DJ-kicks series, and Mr. Scruff’s contribution follows Kamaal Williams’ 70th edition, which was released in November 2019.
Mr. Scruff’s DJ-Kicks mix will be released on 27th March. 15 tracks out of the 31 on the mix are included on the Vinyl release, and you can pre-order the compilation here.
