The London MC continues to hone his trademark “lo-fi grime” style with a new track inspired by Spanish midfielder, Andrés Iniesta. Produced by Scruz, the single marks the Enfield artist’s fifth release of 2023, following singles including ‘Necessities’, ‘Destiny’, and ‘Biggest Belief’, featuring Vagrant Real Estate and DeeRiginal.

namesbliss released his most recent EP, ‘Light of Mine’ at the end of 2021, which speaks to the expectations placed on vulnerable young people in the UK. “I wanted it to give a voice to the people working in the trenches with some of our harder-to-reach young people. A lot of them are young adults themselves,” he shared in a recent interview with DJ Mag. “And then for the youngers, I just wanted them to enjoy it sonically, to appreciate it on a pure music and vibe level.”

Last week, the artist shared an accompanying video for ‘Iniesta Flow’, shot by 7abudda. Filmed around the capital, including in the booth at South London’s Balamii radio, the visual features surveillance-style camera footage, retro football references, and a huge reload from producer Scruz.
