Nene H has dropped a new track, ‘Fix & Break feat. Bubblegun’, and an accompanying video. Check it out below.
The new single is lifted from the DJ and producer’s forthcoming mini-album, ‘ISSA SCAM’. It's one of two tracks on the release that features Bubblegun
Slated for release 16th February via Live From Earth, the project draws inspiration from memes, rapid shifts in internet culture and social media, and digital trends, and, according to a press release, "humorously comments on the antics of the next phase of the digital era".
The accompanying video for 'Fix & Break' was directed by Ricarda Haehn.
Born in Turkey and based in Berlin, Nene H is dedicated to uplifting marginalised communities in club culture. In 2022, she co-founded the Istanbul-based collective Sirän, where she hosts events and workshops that centre around the QTBIPOC community.
In 2023, Nene H launched the non-profit label Umay, offering tangible support to emerging queer artists from the SWANA region.
