Numark launches new controller NS4FX

Numark have launched a new 4-channel DJ controller.
Priced at $499 (£414.99), theNS4FX comes with Serato DJ Lite software and is also compatible with other software programs like Virtual DJ and algorridim djay Pro AI. The six-inch jog wheels feature built-in LED display screens that show BPM, pitch range, time, and track position, while the “Layer” button means you can toggle control quickly between multiple decks and mix up to 4 tracks at once.
Offering high-res 24-bit audio and professional inputs and outputs, the unit is perfect for an "immersive dancefloor experience" as well as livestreaming. The microphone audio is combined with the main music mix when output over USB, which is perfect for streaming as it forgoes the need for additional audio interfaces.
There's also a loop section with multipliers on each deck "which grants quick access and control over seamless loops to extend mixes or craft custom transitions," says Numark. The controller is equipped with 16 performance pads, including Fader Cuts and Sampler, and "fun paddle toggle switches" that trigger the FX section.

Last year, Numark unveiled a range of entry-level Party Mix controllers starting at £89, as well as a new DJ hardware unit, the MixStream Pro, which is designed to be used without a computer.
