Orbital are set to tour their 1991 debut album ‘The Green Album’ in 2024.

The tour will take place in April and May 2024 and will stop off at venues including London’s Troxy on 27th April, Bristol's Beacon on 2nd May and Dublin's Vicar Street on 5th May. See the full tour dates below.

Released on 30th September 1991, Orbital’s self-titled debut album later acquired the title of 'The Green Album' in order to identify it from their 1993 second album, which was also self-titled. 'The Green Album' famously includes tracks including the iconic 'Belfast' and a live version of their breakthrough 1990 classic 'Chime.'

“To play 'The Green Album' live will be a wholly new experience for us and you, it’ll be a bit of an adventure. This will be new territory that I can’t wait to explore. As the saying goes... There is the theory of the Möbius, a twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop, and when we reach that point, whatever happened will happen again. That time, it would appear, is now," says Orbital's Phil Hartnoll.

Pre-sale tickets for The Green Album tour are available to purchase from tomorrow (17th October) at 10am with general sale from 19th October. Visit here to pick up tickets.

Last month, Orbital took on remix duties for a track by Irish post-punk troupe Fontaines D.C., ‘In ár gCroíthe go deo' while last year the duo dropped a retrospective album '30 Something', which included new versions of some of their best-known tracks such as 'Chime', 'Halcyon' and 'Belfast'.
