Pangaea returns to Hessle Audio with new single, ‘Installation’: Listen

Pangaea has returned with a new track, ‘Installation’, released via Hessle Audio.

The DJ and producer returns to the label he co-runs with Ben UFO and Pearson Sound with an energetic cut that pairs a moreish bassline with melodious cut-and-spliced vocals.

Pangaea said of the new single: “More boshy club vibes following up ‘Fuzzy Logic’ [A side] and ‘Still Flowing Water’ [B-side] last year. I haven’t really ground up vocals like this since ‘Hex’ (2011!?) so for me it’s a slight nod back to that era but with different reference points.”

“I’ve had fun testing this one out over the past few weeks, shout out to David [Kennedy, aka Pearson Sound] and Ben as ever for all the back and forth, and to everyone supporting!”

Last year, Pangaea made a number of appearances on the summer festival circuit alongside the Hessle crew as the trio marked the 15th anniversary of their influential UK label.

Pangaea is set to play this year's Junction 2 Festival on 22nd July and Houghton Festival on 10th August.
