Premiere: REES 'Bamboo Of Kyoto (Matrixxman Throwback Mix)'

DJ and producer REES joins the roster at Man Power's ME ME ME sublabel, Ape-X, later this month. Hear the nostalgic atmospherics of Matrixxman's jungle-infused take on 'Bamboo Of Kyoto' now

REES will release a new EP later this month.

Middlesborough-born DJ and producer REES, who embarked on his first US tour in 2019, will make his debut on Ape-X following an EP on Zone Focus, and a string of records on his own imprint, Paradiso Records.

Ape-X, sublabel of Man Power's Me Me Me imprint, will present 'Bamboo Of Kyoto' as its sophomore release, following Marske's 2019 EP, 'Hospital Corners'.

On 'Bamboo Of Kyoto', REES delivers two original cuts of "breakified EDM", alongside mammoth remixes from Running Back affiliate A Sagittariun, and US artist producer, Matrixxman.

On the throwback mix of the title track Matrixxman conjures rave nostalgia, with hard-hitting breaks layered on light, airy chords for a jungle-leaning anthem.
