Qrion has dropped a new single via Anjunadeep.

‘Miyanosawa’ is named after a station in Qrion's home city of Sapporo, Japan, which was the final stop on her daily journey to high school.

“'Miyanosawa' is a song about memories and nostalgia, about moments of realisation and inspiration, and ultimately about seeing the light and saying goodbye to your past," the producer and DJ said in a press release. "It’s been ten years since I made that daily journey, during which time I’ve experienced a lot of ups and downs. I finally feel like I’m able to say goodbye to my past.”

"I had a big brainstorming session about the artwork and my music and that’s when my purpose and meaning behind my new music started to come together. I shared my ideas with Anjunadeep and when they shared Doozical's art I knew they were a perfect fit," she added on Instagram

Watch the visualiser for 'Miyanosawa' is also accompanied by a Zee Yorke-animated visualiser, which you can see below.

In 2021, Qrion was awarded DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Future Star title.
